2017 marks the 10th anniversary of the Billy Graham Library as well as the 10th anniversary of the passing of Ruth Bell Graham. During this year, we are delighted to be able to share some items which have never been seen by the public from the private collection of Mrs. Graham.

 

On this Date: January 20, 1997

On this date in 1997, Rev. Billy Graham gave the invocation at the second inauguration of President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore. These two license plates “Billy” and “Ruth” were given to Billy Graham and Ruth Graham for their car in Washington, D.C. Below is a portion of the prayer that was shared …

 

World Wide Pictures: London Actress Joan Winmill

Joan Winmill, an actress for World Wide Pictures in the 1950s lived an inspiring life. She went from being an actress in London who rejected the Lord, to a friend of Ruth Bell Graham starring in Christian film.

These two theater chairs are from the former World Wide Pictures office in Minneapolis.

 

Autographed Chicago Cubs Baseball

In 1971, Don Kessinger of the Chicago Cubs gave his testimony at Billy Graham’s Chicago Crusade. The team from that season signed a baseball and gave it to Billy while he was in town.
