In 1974, as our country was celebrating the bicentennial, the non-profit “Honor America” had commemorative plates produced in honor of the milestone. This month’s archives feature is one of those plates given to Billy Graham by Bob Hope.

Ruth Graham chose to remain at home during much of Billy’s world travels in order to provide a stable home environment for their five children.
Over the years, Ruth traveled to countries all over the world, including England, China, Amsterdam, and Hungary in support of Billy’s ministry. See some of the items she collected during her travels.
Ruth Graham was not only a devoted wife and mother, she was also a prolific writer who authored and coauthored 14 books.
