Volunteer Spotlight – October 2015

Categories: Volunteers

At the Library we are blessed to have volunteers serving in many roles, which include welcoming guests at the Graham Family Homeplace or at the entrance to the Library, assisting guests through the galleries or praying with guests in our prayer area.

Each month we recognize one of our volunteers and we want to share our appreciation of them with you.

Meet Tim Kepley who was recognized in our volunteer spotlight for October 2015.

Tim became a Library volunteer because he prayed for God to lead him to a place where he could serve Him and God led Tim here to the Billy Graham Library. His favorite experience at the Library was when a 16-year-old young man asked Tim to pray for him and direction in his life.

In addition to his volunteer time at the Library, Tim also volunteers at a nursing home in the area. He enjoys golfing and fishing, vacations at the beach, and eating Italian and seafood.

Tim’s favorite verse is Psalm 91:1-2 which says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
