Lee and Saige are members of the Biltmore Baptist youth group of Asheville, N.C. They were here with the other graduating seniors on their annual surprise road trip. They were heading to Carowinds once they left the Library.
Several members of this family live locally here in Charlotte. They had several relatives visiting from India for a few months and made sure the Billy Graham Library was at the top of their summer agenda.
Library Vice President Tom Phillips (middle) learned that Sunder Rao (to his right) attended a Billy Graham Crusade many years ago in India. Phillips gave Rao a copy of "God's Ambassador," a book about Billy Graham's ministry.
Out of the hundreds who came through the Library during the anniversary celebration, many of them were children.
Guests were greeted by our volunteers and this beautiful, delicious cake.
Here is a close up what was was inscribed on the Bible portion of the cake. This Scripture is why we do what we do here at BGEA.
As the Billy Graham Library celebrated its seventh anniversary, fresh flowers lay at the grave of Ruth Bell Graham to remember when she entered this world, and when she left it.
