Last Month to See Ethel Waters Exhibit

There’s still time to see The Ethel Waters Exhibit: His Eye Is On The Sparrow. It runs through the end of March. Ethel Waters (1896-1977) was one of the most influential African American women in history. She began her career as a jazz singer in the 20’s and 30’s and went on to become an award-winning vocalist and star of stage and screen. In 1957, she began touring with the Billy Graham Crusades, inspiring thousands with her trademark song, “His Eye Is On The Sparrow”.

The Ethel Waters Exhibit features memorabilia from her remarkable career and showcases photos from her years on the Billy Graham Crusade team.
