Event Preview: 2nd Annual Easter Celebration

February 26, 2013

Categories: Easter, Events

Join us for our second annual Easter celebration on March 23 from 10 a.m. to noon. It’s a special morning filled with activities for your children as they honor the risen King. We will offer story time, and a book reading and signing with author Dandi Mackall. Dandi has written over 300 books for children (and about 30 for grown-ups), with sales of over 3 million. She’s written several children’s books about Easter, including Easter is for Me and The Story of Easter Robin.

There will be a fun craft for children, and they’ll have something to take home to remember their time at the Library. Plus, kids can pet and have their pictures taken with live lambs!

Afterwards, check out our full lunch menu at the Graham Brothers Dairy Bar and retrace the inspiring journey of Billy Graham’s life through our state-of-the-art exhibits.

The cost for this event is $5 per child ages 3 and up, and space is limited. Make your plans today, and call 704-401-3256 or email hbrooks@bgea.org.

Bring your family to the Library to celebrate the true meaning of Easter – the resurrection of Jesus Christ!
