Death is the penalty for sin—and because we are all infected with the disease of sin, we are all subject to death. The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23).
“My father has joined my mother in heaven. He went to sleep in his home in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina and woke up in the arms of Jesus.”
On March 7, the Billy Graham Library reopened to the public.
Many came to the Billy Graham Library to share their memories and condolences.
Before his death, Billy Graham approved the following response as his final My Answer column.
“Today, he’s in Heaven. On the 21st of February, he was escorted by God’s angels to the throne of God.”
“It was just amazing as he would preach the Gospel, just seeing thousands come at a time.”
“Some day you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I am now.”
