This spring, the Billy Graham Library will once again host its popular Ladies Tea & Tour and Easter Celebration annual events. In addition, the Library will add new events: Mother’s Day Breakfast, Doughnuts with Dad and Share God’s Love Day – a Bible exploration for children.
March 22, 2-4:30 p.m.: An Afternoon with Ricky Skaggs – The 14-time GRAMMY winner and country and bluegrass star will give an acoustic performance, followed by a question and answer session and signing of his book “Kentucky Traveler – My Life in Music.” Admission is free.
April 12, 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.: 3rd Annual Easter Celebration – This event includes a special story time about the true meaning of Easter, a fun craft and a chance to pet and take photos of a few special little lambs. Advance registration is required. Tickets are $5 for children ages 3 and up.
April 26, 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.: 7th Annual Ladies Tea & Tour – The Library welcomes special guest Aileen Coleman, a nurse and longtime medical missionary in the Middle East, who co-founded a mission hospital in Jordan. Guests will enjoy an elegant tea party with friends, special music and a guided Journey of Faith tour following the tea. Advance registration is required. Tickets are $25
May 10, 7:30 a.m.: Mother’s Day Breakfast and Tour – Families are invited to honor mothers of all ages with a breakfast and guided Journey of Faith tour. Each mother in attendance will receive a special gift. Tickets are $15 per person; children 3 and under are free. Advance registration is required.
May 10, 10 a.m.: Share God’s Love Day – Children in kindergarten through 5th grade will explore how to share God’s love by honoring others through a Bible lesson and craft time. Advance registration is required. Admission to this event is free.
June 14, 9:30 a.m.: Doughnuts with Dad – Dads of all ages and their families will be treated to doughnuts and beverages, and all fathers will receive a special gift. Doughnuts and beverages will be limited to the first 500 guests.
The Billy Graham Library opened in 2007 and has since had more than 800,000 visitors from around the world. The Library is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the Library and the Journey of Faith is free.
