He said to them, “Then give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” – Luke 20:25 NIV
This is my favorite verse in the Bible. It opened my eyes to a lot of things and the verse that convicted me to give my life over to Jesus. The first time in my life that Jesus was truly God happened as I read this verse. His wisdom is incomprehensible and His word poured life into me. Nothing is above God, no monetary value can be compared to His glory and majesty.
One of my favorite verses is Colossians 3:23. It took me through some dark times at the jobsite and gave me hope that things will get better. And indeed it does!
My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 143:8, “Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.”
Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10
“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you. He will never leave you nor for sake you. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged.”
Deuteronomy 31:8
My favorite verse is Psalms 25-7. As we all have a past, God will not remember us for the sins of our youth. When I gave my heart to God he reminded me that his love for me is greater than any sin of my youth. This verse has reassured me that turning to God is no mistake. 🙏🏽 I am redeemed
“When you go through rough waters, I will be with you.”
Isaiah 43:2
This taught me so much about God. He is always there when times aren’t going well. He knows the pain and He knows when you cry on your pillow. He sent His son into a world of fear and doubt, yet Jesus still died for us. God is so good!!!

The verse about restoration of what the locusts have eaten. It was impressed on me though several devotions at a time when things in my life were at a very bad place. Gradually over the years God has restored most of what had been lost with more and better things.
One of my favorite verses that I hold on to and share with others to stay encourage is:
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord , plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” -Jeremiah 29:11

Romans 15:13 ‘Now the God of hope fill you will all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.’
Without God’s hope, which is so different to the vague hope of those who are not born again, we are lost. But with God’s hope we are confident day by day, as we are filled with the Holy Spirit. Hope for now and eternally because of God’s free gift of salvation to all who receive Him.

For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?”
