  1. Laurel Hamid says:

I have learned that if I am in trouble that I can go to my earthly father and my heavenly father for help, and that I don’t need to be afraid to ask for help.

  2. Riley says:

I’ve learned that you can never just “take a break” from God.

  3. ann says:

I have learned that it is much better to give than receive. Love giving my strength and time working at the processing center Monday at Charlotte

  4. Frances says:

No matter what, my heavenly Father loves me!
He is so good too me and is always there for me.

  5. Frances Igou says:

My Heavenly Father has taught me that He is the one in control. Not me. I had to learn the hard way to trust Him with my life and my family. I had to let go of my control of my family and trust that God had them. Trusted Him with my salvation but not my children. I had to ask His forgiveness for not trusting Him with them. He has given me peace and comfort. Peace that surpasses all understanding. I had to trust in Him with ALL my heart not just parts of it. Wow, when I finally let go how freeing it was. I had exhausted myself and my household. Thank you Jesus! My Heavenly Father and my earthly father have both helped me to learn and practice forgiveness.

  6. Kim says:

I learned from my earthly father who my heavenly Father is. That no matter what I had done he still loves me and will forgive me to learn from my mistakes and ask for forgiveness and not to do that anymore. My dad always tells me Jesus is the only one that loves you more than I do.

  7. Brenda Cook says:

I learned to be generous. My Dad would help anyone in need; he bought food for a hungry man at a restaurant. He would give his grown kids money when they came home for a visit. He bought his handicapped daughter (me!) a brand new car to drive while away at college. He did many other generous things.❤️

  8. Lynn Greene says:

I didn’t have a close relationship with my father or step-father. They were both unhappy people. I didn’t know what it felt to be loved by a father. That was until I met Jesus. Now I know how wonderful it is, and it allowed me to forgive my father and step-father for all they couldn’t be for me. Jesus forgave me for my sins, so I was able to forgave them, through the power of the Holy Spirit. I am thankful for all Christ has done in my life.

  9. Derek Gaskill says:

God has taught me that Heaven is the great equalizer. Without Heaven God would not be a good God. Heaven is the ultimate prize for this life. Thankful Jesus made a way.

  10. Janice absher says:

Without the Lord I couldn’t make it. Jesus is my only hope

  11. Elizabeth A. Temple says:

From my earthly father, I learned what it was like to live in a warm house or a cool one in the summers and to have food on the table. From my heavenly father, I learned the greatest gifts of love, strength, and the miracles of how God protects you. The Billy Graham ministry provided insights into that world.

  12. Stuart Wells says:

That I’m lost without Jesus. That this earthly life is temporal but in Jesus Christ is eternal LIFE. Believing in Jesus saved me from my sinful self, that through Jesus, His righteousness, I will live forever in His Kingdom, one day.

  13. Julie B says:

My earthly father has given me Godly, wise guidance and direction. I know I can go to him or my heavenly father anytime. If we look mankind for all things we will be disappointed. Man will make mistakes and fail us. God’s Word never fails us us. Joshua 21:45
Not one word of all the good promises that the LORD had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass. (ESV) and Hebrews 13:8-9 English Standard Version (ESV)
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. 9 Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them.

  14. Renea Williams says:

My Grandmother and I kept each other aware of the Billy Grahams tv specials and watched them with each other in different homes. My Grandmother taught me about Jesus and shared Billy Graham with me also. I have enjoyed reading many of Billy Grahams books. The biggest thing I have learned is He will do for me what I can’t do for myself. He brought me out of the pits of alcoholism and set my feet on the road to my Heavenly Father.

  15. Johannah says:

    Love has no boundaries!

  16. Teresa Waggoner says:

Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.

  19. Mary E. Livingston says:

I put the Lord first and listen to Him. He is a true “rock” for all.

  20. Chris Johnson says:

That there is no pain, no struggle, no hurt that God cannot not only understand but also redeem. Every day He shouts that He loves us to the world, no matter how much we hurt Him and yet He stands with arms wide, still wanting us to be with Him.

  21. Karen Pope says:

I learned how to depend on my Heavenly Father from my earthly father. Life lessons that will be with me forever and beyond. I am so grateful to the Lord for my dad.

  22. DeLores Simpson says:

I am blessed that Jesus came into my heart at a young age and He has never let go of my hand, even when my attention wandered. His Holy Spirit never failed to draw me closer. My heavenly Father’s promise to never leave me has truly proven to be true.

  23. Shannon Brown says:

My dad learned obedience from his dad and then taught it to me and my brother. Daddy explained that if we hadn’t been taught obedience as children, it would be much harder for us to obey God.

  24. Bobbie Curtis says:

How awesome it is to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. My generation is so fortunate to have lived when Dr. Billy Graham boldly preached God’s Word and when God’s Word was loved. Franklin, his siblings and the BGEA still boldly preach and teach God’s love today, just like Billy, even in this ever increasing evil world. Thank you Graham family and BGEA. May God richly bless you. One day we will all stroll across Heaven together. What a day that will be!!!

  25. Bobbie Curtis says:

I am reaching old age now but I have a peace within that only Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord can provide. He is and has been faithful to forgive me, protect me and bless me throughout my life, even when I swayed. I know that my life is what it is because I have Jesus in my heart. I am so thankful I have God’s Word to direct all my ways. Hallelujah, what a Savior!!!

From my Heavenly Father that He loves me unconditionally and gave me a choice for eternal life.

  28. Vanessa Ortiz says:

My earthly father has shown me what it is to live in this world. To be responsible and how to let money or earthly possesions be everything. My heavenly father has shown me what true love is. How not to live for the world but to live for what He is preparing for us. Has shown me to forgive not matter what. Has shown me patience. Has shown what it truly means to let it all go when things seem so unfair. I’m a growing christian and I’m still learning.

    thanks for chance to win

  30. Diane Puente says:

What I learned from my Heavenly Father is love. I became a Christian and turned my entire life over to the Lord when I was 20 yrs old. Before that, I was abused, rejected, and forsaken by my Dad and his wife. I hated myself because they showed me over and over that I was worthless. I always wear a cross at all times because I know and understand now how much the Father God loves me….and Jesus died on the cross to give me access to know the Father! His Presence in my life is EVERYTHING to me. He has healed me, delivered me, given me a new life…and I feel I know the Fathers mercy, kindness, grace in abundance. Billy Graham was like a spiritual father in my life , showing me simply of God’s love.

  31. Dawn Cantrell says:

I have learned with God all things are possible even in your scared and heartbroken times. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago the 15th of December and just had my fifth surgery. I’m so blessed and I want to tell everyone.

I have learned from my heavenly father that I cannot live without them. I am nothing without Him. He deserves much praise and gave His life for me and you.

  33. Susan Dillon says:

My earthly father loved me so much. He was away a lot (he was a salesman and had to travel quite a bit). However, he wrote letters to me about his love for me. He spent time with me showing me how to ride a bike among other things. He died suddenly when I was 13. I still miss him, but in the short 13 years I knew him, l always felt his love and I loved him more than words can say.
I know my Heavenly Father loves me too. He has healed me physically and emotionally so many times. He answers prayers. And teaches me through His Word. His love is precious to me. Thank you Lord God!

God truly blesses His children! I am a wretched sinner saved by God’s grace and I am Blessed beyond measure!

I learned from my earthly father to love God, to love reading His word, that prayer is one of the most important part of life. He is the most important person in my life.

  40. Kelli says:

I have learned that to have faith is not necessarily having all the answers but trusting God that He does and that His ways are best.

  41. Patrick Seay says:

I have learned that He is holy, and I am not. Being that this is the case, it was by his grace that I was saved, and it was through his irrepressible love that He sent Christ to die on the cross and be raised from the dead, which turned me from being an enemy of God into an ambassador of His Kingdom.

After years of seeking my earthly father’s approval I realized that while he didn’t necessarily say it everyday, he showed it through his actions and love.
I’m 67 now and both of my parents have been gone for years. My parents introduced me to the Lord at an early age. When I wake up in the morning before my feet hit the floor I pray a prayer of thanks as well as the Lords Prayer and the Apostles Creed. So many mornings I find that after these prayers, I have renewed strength and courage to face the day. Just like when my parents would wake me up as a child. I’m am truly blessed, as is my family, and I feel the love and blessing of our Heavenly Father each day.

I’ve learned that God is always with me and that He is always faithful to supply my every need, and to protect me. There’s not enough words to explain Him or His awesomeness… ♡

    My earthly Father died 9/25/10
The grief was horrible, I’d often be
on my knees beside my bed sobbing uncontrollably.
About 8 Months later the grief actually got worse. Throughout the day I would run to my bedside or if I was downstairs, run to the nearest Bathroom to
cry another river of tears- until this day as I stood again alone in my Bathroom weeping, I cried out to God, “Lord, how long am I going to feel this way about my Dad? Will I ever be able to stop crying?” Suddenly a thought came to me,
“I will never see my Dad on this Earth again.” With that thought I really lost it-
& sobbed, then another thought came to me, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Yes, I still have my Heavenly Father here!
    Tears stopped- JOY came

  53. Karen Cravens says:

My earthly dad was never around my parents divorced when I was small and he was in the military so was always moving. However God blessed me with a wonderful step dad who taught me to work hard for what I wanted and to be a decent, kind person. My Heavenly Father has taught me that I am loved unconditionally! He taught me to give to others and to do unto others as I want them to do to me. He taught me to nurture my children and bring them up in His house. He has taught me to open my home to others in need. He taught me to pray and to be faithful and to trust in him wholly.
