Often times we don’t feel like God knows what we are going thru in life. Job could identify with those feelings. In Job 9:33, he wished for someone who could arrange to bring God and himself together. Job wanted to plead his case before the Almighty. And often, we think the same thing. We wish we could go to God and ask why there seems to be injustice in this world.
Job was asking for someone who could bring both God and man together. In other words, he was asking for a mediator, who represents both God and man, and is able to bring them together. Jesus is just that mediator. He brings God and man together with the Holy Spirit interceding on our behalf. When we live by faith, we have Jesus who actually knows our pains and we also have the Holy Spirit who pleads our case. By faith, we have an advocate that fights our case before God. So live by faith and not by sight.
