The message below was given by Billy Graham at the “Honor America Day” service from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., on July 4, 1970 – 40 years ago.

Dr. Nelson Bell, father of Ruth Bell Graham, was known for his courage among the Chinese people he served in Tsing Kiang.
