The Legacy of the Gospel – Route 66 Missouri

The Graham’s have a legacy of ministry in Missouri. Billy Graham held several evangelistic events between 1953 and 1999 with over 742,000 people who attended. Meanwhile, Franklin Graham travelled to the St. Louis area for an evangelistic event back in 2009. On August 2, 2009, Franklin held Rock the River at Gateway Arch National Park in St. Louis. Over 65,000 people attended the event.

Both Billy Graham and his son, Franklin Graham, have a history in the Chicago area. Billy Graham, had evangelistic events between 1959 and 1980 in the Chicago metropolitan area and had a combined attendance of 1.14 million people.
