Ladies Night Out

November 22, 2021

It’s one of the most popular events of the year — Ladies Night Out at the Billy Graham Library.

Author and Bible teacher, Jennifer Rothschild, spoke to a sold-out crowd, Friday night. Rothschild shared her story of going blind, but how she didn’t let that “clutter” her heart so she could make room for her King.  She shared three ways we can all prepare our hearts this Christmas season to “prepare Him room” so we won’t miss out on the blessings God has intended for us.

  1. Let the disappointment REFINE you, not define you.
  2. Trade your fear for FAITH.
  3. Say I CAN — respond to Christ’s ability based on Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

At 15, when Jennifer Rothschild found out she was going blind, she shared with the crowd that she went to her piano and played, “It is Well with my Soul.”
A sold-out crowd came out to hear Bible teacher and author, Jennifer Rothschild at the Billy Graham Library for Ladies Night Out.
Music played as guests enjoyed food and fellowship.
Ladies Night Out was a great opportunity for groups to come together to laugh and be encouraged this holiday season.
Ladies Night Out guests were treated to an array of delightful foods.

Jennifer Rothschild said our response to God in whatever circumstance we are in should be to say, “I CAN” do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Guests at Ladies Night Out had a chance to shop at Ruth’s Attic bookstore.
Ruth’s Attic is already stocked with many inspirational gifts, as well as Christmas decorations for the home and your own tree.
These Christmas items are limited and more will be added throughout the season, so plan to stop by soon at Ruth’s Attic to get the perfect present for those on your gift-giving list.
Guests at Ladies Night Out enjoyed the holiday decorations outside and inside the Library, getting ready for Christmas at the Library.

In 2021, guests to Christmas at the Library are asked to make reservations ahead of their visit at billygrahamlibrary.org. Admission to the Billy Graham Library is always free, including Christmas at the Library, however a few activities do have an added fee including carriage rides and Christmas dinner.

Mark your calendars – Christmas at the Library runs Monday, Nov. 29 through Thursday, Dec. 23 (closed on Sundays) – and plan your visit to the Billy Graham Library this Christmas season.
