Thank you, Will, for sharing such a touching and humorous story from a grandson’s perspective! Your grandparents’ love for each other and for the Lord and for others touched millions! It still continues to this day!

Thank you for this beautiful video of your grandparents. We love to go to the Library and have taken many visitors, and also had the privilege of attending your father’s funeral.

Honoring the old is wonderful. My husband was born in China in 1941 and understands the reverence in saying ‘old lady’.

What a beautiful recollection and narration of a historic true love of one of my favourite Evangelists Dr Billy Graham narrated by his grandson. Though this is the age of technology and more modern outlook, how his grandson has reflected 50 years back taken us to that era. I love to read just anything about Dr Billy Graham & his family just like the way I used to take interest reading about the Royal Family in UK or the Kennedy family years ago when I was in Fiji. Now I live in CA my perspectives have changed and my interest is more on Biblical readings and on all those servants of God who made difference in the lives of people in not only USA but all over the world.

What a blessing that was to witness. Thrills my heart to know that there are truly some marriages so full of Love as well they should be.

Thank you for sharing the story of your Grandmother’s wedding dress. A beautiful story for your family to share for generations to come. A testimony of your Grandfather’s deep love for his sweet spouse. A shining example to all on the importance of the bonds of marriage, a love that takes your breath away.

I have visited the Library in Charlotte once when visiting Rock Hill, SC to see my kids when they lived there. I cannot wait to come back one day. I told the kids they need to hurry and move back so I can volunteer on the Library’s welcoming team! You have such a wonderful team there.

God Bless you all and keep you safe. Jacque J

Sweet story, thanks for sharing Will. I never met either of your grandparents but I count it a great privilege to have volunteered at the Billy Graham Library since it opened. I look forward to meeting them one day in heaven and thank them in person for their life of open and private service to the Lord Jesus. They have inspired millions and I am one of them.

What a beautiful story!! We just happened to be at the Montreat College Chapel a couple of years ago and to our surprise we found out Dr. and Mrs. Graham were married in that chapel!! Now we see pictures of their wedding, we can say we were there in the same chapel!! Thank you for sharing that story of Mrs Graham’s wedding dress.

What a beautiful story. I love to watch Billy Graham on TV, even if it is a replay. We have been watching him for many years, even when I was still at home. We grew up Catholic and my parents(both gone now) would watch Billy Graham Crusade. I am married and a Christian. Thank you for sharing. God bless.

Beautiful story! How blessed you were to share that special day with your grandparents! I have been blessed over the years to have the input of your grandfather in spiritual matters, and I so enjoy The Attic portion of Decision Magazine! We are blessed to have your father and you continuing God’s work that He began with your grandfather. What a joyful reunion it will be when you join them in Heaven, and I will be looking for them when I go home!!
God bless you and your family, and thanks for sharing!!

This was so beautiful. If you could sum up the whole Bible in 1 word it would be Love. There love was so evident. Truely this was a blessing to me today. God Bless more marriages with this type of Love. Godly Love straight from the heart.❤

What a blessing they were to each other and millions of others like me. I pray God’s protection over your dad’s ministry as he helps lead others to the Lord. My favorite mission to help with is the Christmas Shoe boxes. It blesses my heart every year to lead our church in getting their boxes ready and then taking them to be shipped out with other boxes all over the world. God bless you all.

I too, am teary eyed and loved this story told by Will! Through the years of reading books by Ruth, and praying for the crusades and the Graham family, I have felt like I know the family! We were blessed to meet Roy at a dinner we were invited to in Newport Beach, California, I think last year. We are grateful for this family who are such a light for Jesus and so transparent that we can relate to them and to what it is like to be a true believer. Thank you to every member for your unwavering faith and for sharing it with us! En Agape, Joyce Dieda

Thank you for sharing this wonderful story. It brought tears to my eyes. My wife Joyce McClain and I are celebrating our 50th anniversary this August 29th. I had special plans to celebrate our anniversary. I had a river cruise down the Danube river booked and the virus hit and all flights and cruises were cancelled. We are disappointed but made plans to fly from North Carolina to California where all our children and family live to have a nice dinner with everyone. I developed a bronchial problem which was after 4 months of doctors and finally seeing a specialist diagnosed as asthma. I was given a new prescription and it is controlling my asthma but the doctor said I should not fly at this time. So I had to cancel our flight to California.

Will, You have blessed so many by sharing the wedding dress story of your grandmother. Ruth and Billy Graham’s marriage was truly one made in Heaven. They both remain as an inspiration to couples planning to marry and those who have already married.

  16. Janet Lynn Cooper

What a Wonderful story ! We came to the library the year your grandfather passed and I got to walk through the cross! I always remember his saying the only way to Jesus is through the cross and I had chills when I walked through! I will remember it all my life and I hope to come back someday. The Library is a wonderful experience. I wish Ruth’s closet was on line to purchase more items the shop there is has so many wonderful items! God Bless to you all.

  17. Jo Ann Belaski

That was a beautiful story. Your family is a blessing to the world. Thank you all. I listen to your grandfather on the radio and on dvd. I’m really happy you and your dad continue the good fight. Many people do not believe in God. That is sad. Thank you for never giving up. Bless you all.Your grand parents are truly proud of each and everyone of his beautiful family. I appreciate all you do. Keep up the good work. Bless you all.

Thanks Will for Sharing these Precious moments with us.
I was in tears, as you were telling the story of their Love that reminded me of my Dear Donna Sue’s Love who is Now in Heaven after almost 59 years of marriage.

A beautiful loving story. I only got to see my wife ,of 35 years, in her wedding dress one time before she joined our Father in Heaven. I would have given anything here on Earth to see her standing in front of me one more time in that dress with all her beauty. May God Bless you all as he has your Grandpa and Grandma…

  20. Gale Finley

Wow! What a blessing in that story. I never cease to be amazed by how God uses the Graham family. It thrills my soul to see where they will be serving or what they will be doing next for our Lord. Look how long this has been happening. God has raised up this entire family and it started with the wedding dress.

Thank you Will Graham for sharing the story of your grandmother Ruth Graham in her wedding dress.
And thank you for completing the family dinner story about your grandfather Billy Graham praying to thank the Lord for the dinner but could not complete the prayer due to being overcome with his love for Ruth and his whole family at dinner time.
Billy and Ruth Graham has greatly influenced the Christian Church and the lost and left a legacy that has never been blemished.
I personally went to Dr Billy Graham’s Los Angeles Crusade and went forward and rededicated my life to the Lord.
I have met your father Franklin Graham many times at the Anchorage Baptist Temple .
I do what I can to support Billy Graham ministry even though I’m unemployed.

  22. Sally Harris

Very touching and beautiful. What a life Billy and Ruth Graham have lived! They have truly left a legacy. As a child growing up in the Caribbean I grew up listening to Mr. Graham. I was fortunate to visit the Billy Graham library a few years ago with my children. Now that my kids are older I would love to visit again. Will, thank you for sharing that beautiful touching story of your grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. I can’t think of many men and women of God who have lived a simple and inspiring God fearing life as Billy and Ruth. Even in death their lives continue to touch and inspire. I wish someone would make a movie about their lives so that the next generation could see a life well lived.

Beautiful. I serve at the BG Library and am also amazed that she
did her own wedding dress. She must have been an amazing
lady to have done that. But I am also amazed that she raised
the kids by herself as Billy was gone so much and that she never
complained. By her wanting to be a missionary I am sure that she knew that she was also involved in the Lords work by supporting Bill like she did. We also have a ministry at the Library as we interact with people that come. I am sure that
God is pleased with the Library and all that goes on there. I
feel that Franklin is doing a great job for the Lord. We are only
here to determine whether we go up or down.

I have admired both Billy & Ruth for years! The way that both Billy & Ruth followed & listened to the Lord 🙏 & the Holy Spirit as they were directed in the way they would go! What a blessing they were to each other.

What a beautiful tribute to two beautiful Christian people!
They shared their Christian love with the world, but your family is a beautiful legacy of their memories to the world!
    Thanks so much for sharing!
