On Saturday, October 30, volunteers for the Billy Graham Library were honored with a special banquet at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. It’s a way to say thank you for all their hard work throughout the year. Participants were treated to a special dinner, dessert, and entertainment from Dr. Dennis Swanberg. Dr. Dennis Swanberg, an encouraging speaker, comedian, and humorist, served the local church in pastoral ministry for 23 years. Each person who attended received a copy of Dr. Swanberg’s book, Planting Shade Trees.
About 150 people attended the 2021 Volunteer Appreciation Banquet at BGEA headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dr. Dennis Swanberg had the crowd laughing. He did voice impressions of Billy Graham, Barney Fife (Don Knotts) from “The Andy Griffith Show,” and Jimmy Stewart from “It’s a Wonderful Life.”Each attendee received one of Dr. Swanberg’s books and had the opportunity to get it signed.The Billy Graham Library is thankful for all the volunteers who faithfully come to serve and show the love of Jesus.
