5 Ways to Pray for the Billy Graham Library

January 30, 2017

Categories: Prayer

At the Billy Graham Library we begin our days with prayer. Before guests even arrive, our volunteers pray over each and every visitor that will enter through the doors—that they will have an encounter with Christ.

It shares a glimpse into the heart of Billy Graham and over 70 years of ministry grounded in prayer.

“Prayer has always been essential to evangelism, and it remains the foundation of all we do at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association,” said Franklin Graham. “My father and I always have taken heart in knowing that our ministries are bathed in prayer—from our families, from our teams, from the churches in the communities we reach and from the worldwide Body of Christ.”

As we continue our prayer ministry, we would be honored if you—our online guests—will allow us to pray for you. Share your requests in the comments below. If you’d like them to remain anonymous, you can indicate “PRIVATE” at the beginning of your comment, or simply state “unspoken prayer.”

We also covet your prayers. Here are a few ways you could pray for the Billy Graham Library:

  • As the Library approaches our 10th Anniversary in May of 2017, please pray that we continue to “remember the works of the Lord, meditate on all His work, and talk of His deeds” (Psalm 77:11-12 NKJV).
  • Please ask the Father to bestow the endurance of Christ upon the Library as He says to us, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
  • Please ask the Holy Spirit to create an atmosphere in the Library Prayer Room where “all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).
  • As we seek to speak the truth in love, please pray that the Lord would “Set a guard… over our mouths and keep watch over the doors of our lips” (Psalm 141:3).
  • Please pray for the Library staff and volunteers, “that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that the Father has sent Jesus” (John 17:23).
