“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” —1 John 5:14

The Billy Graham Library welcomes guests from around the world to discover how God used an ordinary farm boy like Billy Graham to reach millions across the globe with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether you have visited the Library, served as a volunteer or simply want to support its ministry from wherever you are, we invite you to join us in prayer.

Billy Graham once said, “What a glorious thing it would be if millions of us would avail ourselves of the greatest privilege and the greatest power this side of Heaven—the privilege and power of prayer!”

Here are five ways you can pray for the Billy Graham Library:

Pray for our visitors

Pray that God would prepare the hearts of each guest and use their time at the Library to draw them closer to Him as they encounter the Gospel through Billy Graham’s life and ministry. Pray that those searching for truth would have open ears to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Pray for our staff and volunteers

Pray for wisdom, strength and joy for each person serving at the Library. Ask God to help them reflect the love of Christ in their conversations and actions. Pray that their service would be an encouragement to guests and that God would use their willingness to serve for His glory.

Pray that the Gospel would continue to be proclaimed

Pray that every opportunity to share the Gospel—whether through The Journey of Faith tour, conversations with guests or at special events—would be used by God to point people to the hope of Jesus Christ.

As Paul wrote, “For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake” (2 Corinthians 4:5).

Pray for guests who need hope

Some guests may arrive carrying unseen burdens. Pray for those who are grieving, facing difficult circumstances, feeling alone or searching for hope. Ask the Lord to meet them where they are and remind them of His presence, love and faithfulness.

Pray that God would provide Library staff and volunteers with opportunities to minister to guests. Ask God to give compassion, discernment and sensitivity as they listen and point people to the truth and hope of God’s Word.

Pray for the Library’s ongoing ministry

Ask the Lord to use the Library as a place where people from around the world can hear the Gospel through Billy Graham’s life and ministry. Pray that God would continue to use the Library to point people to Jesus Christ for generations to come.
