5 Quotes on Prayer from Billy Graham

August 28, 2017

“We will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”
-Acts 6:4

“When Billy Graham was asked about the most important steps in preparing for an evangelistic outreach, he always answered that there were three things that mattered most: Prayer, prayer and prayer.” —Cliff Barrows

Here are 5 more quotes from Billy Graham on prayer.

——–

“In the morning, prayer is the key that opens to us the treasures of God’s mercies and blessings; in the evening, it is the key that shuts us up under His protection and safeguard.”

(Till Armageddon, Word, 1981)

——–

“True prayer is a way of life, not just for use in cases of emergency. Make it a habit, and when the need arises you will be in practice.”

(Hope for the Troubled Heart, Word, 1991)

——–

“Have you ever said, ‘Well, all we can do now is pray’? … When we come to the end of ourselves, we come to the beginning of God.”

(Hope for the Troubled Heart, Word, 1991)

——–

“We are to pray in times of adversity,
lest we become faithless and unbelieving.

We are to pray in times of prosperity,
lest we become boastful and proud.

We are to pray in times of danger,
lest we become fearful and doubting.

We are to pray in times of security,
lest we become self-sufficient.”

(Day by Day, World Wide, 1965)

——–

“This should be the motto of every follower of Jesus Christ. No matter how dark and hopeless a situation might seem, never stop praying. ”

(Hope for the Troubled Heart, Word, 1991)

I am so proud of this Man Of God. He inspires my walk with God and my faith in GOD and my practice to prayer. His faithfulness to God was so unwavering, l believe had it not been for his example of leadership this world would had been lessened by much more immorality. All the souls that were converted throughout his crusades made a great impact not only on America but on this whole World. I will forever be grateful, Billy Graham, for your immovable love for God and for his creation, (Mankind). Rest in peace for you have truly kept the faith and finished your course. Now I want you all to pray my strength in the Lord.

Prayer and belief in the God of the Holy Bible is what our country desperately needs right now.

I have always prayed to our Heavenly Father, through His son, our King and Savior, Jesus Christ. Everyone in our Church is now praying directly to Jesus. Did Billy Graham do that?
