We had something a little un-traditional this year at Mom’s – beef brisket…I’m sure it will now become the tradition. My Mother is 82 years old and got up at midnight to start the brisket. Both her, my sister and all the family made this Christmas very special. Everything was made from scratch…a true homemade country Christmas dinner. It will never be forgotten and we are truly blessed.

An amazing moment this year for us was when Tuesday prior to Christmas, our daughter, was able to ride a bicycle for the first time in her 9 1/2 years! She has several orthopedic handicaps preventing her to do so and through donations from friends, local high school students and staff and family, enough money was raised to purchase her a handcycle! Several people said they bet this was the best Christmas gift ever, but I lo ed her response~”No, my best Christmas gift ever is Jesus.” That melted my heart!
