FALL EVENTS FOR ALL AGES AT THE BILLY GRAHAM LIBRARY

The Billy Graham Library announces two new events coming this fall. The pastor appreciation and Veteran’s Day breakfasts will be held in October and November, respectively. In addition, the Library hosts multiple events throughout the year which include popular events such as the annual Bikers with Boxes held each October and author book signings.

Oct. 18, 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.: Bikers with Boxes – The 7th annual Bikers with Boxes charity ride brings together thousands of motorcyclists from across the region. In 2013, more than 2,400 gift-filled boxes were collected for Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child. Find out how to pack your shoebox at the Operation Christmas Child website. Oct. 24, 8:30 a.m.: Pastors Breakfast – Pastors are invited to come enjoy a time of fellowship, prayer and an encouraging word along with pastries and coffee. Each pastor in attendance will receive a small token of appreciation. Advance registration is encouraged. Admission to this event is free.  

 

 

 

Nov. 8, 9 a.m.: Sharing God’s Love Day – Children in kindergarten through 5th grade will explore how to share God’s love through an interactive Library tour. Participants will also enjoy doughnuts and beverages, and receive a small gift. Advance registration is required. Admission to this event is free.

 

 

 

Nov. 11, 8 a.m.: Veteran’s Day Breakfast – Military veterans are invited as we honor their service with a complimentary continental breakfast, special guest speaker and guided Journey of Faith tour.Advance registration is required. Admission to this event is free.

 

 

 

NEW DATE!! Feb. 14, 1-3 p.m.: Book Signing with James and Shirley Dobson – Dr. James Dobson, founder and president of Family Talk, and his wife Shirley, chair of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, will be at the Library to greet guests and sign copies of their latest books. Books will be available for purchase in Ruth’s Attic bookstore, or you can bring your own. Limit of two signed items per person.

 

 

 

Fridays Throughout November: Guests who present their Journey of Faith ticket stub, upon completion of the tour, will receive free coffee at the Graham Brothers Dairy Bar.
