One of the younger members of the cast of the popular A&E reality series Duck Dynasty, 18-year-old Sadie Robertson is a student athlete, motivational speaker, model, daughter, sister and friend. In 2014, she released her book Live Original, in which she shares her outlook on life as she opens up about herself and the values that make her family what it is.

Sadie will be at the Billy Graham Library on February 20 to sign copies of Live Original.

Learn more about the event, which is free and open to the public.

Billy Graham Library Facebook followers recently had the chance to ask Sadie a few questions. See her answers below.

Q. How do you not give in to the badness and stay so pure? {like cursing and things}

A. When you are so in love and obsessed with God nothing else seems appealing to you. The problem is we surround ourselves with things we don’t need to, but when you surround yourself with good and positivity it takes temptations of the bad away.

Q. Sadie, do you consider your career to be blessing from God?

A. Absolutely!! I remember praying as a kid that God would give me a platform to share His name with someone. I never knew He would take me this far. It’s definitely a blessing.

Q. What is your favorite food?

A. I would have to say anything my dad cooks. He cooks bacon wrapped shrimp with lots of good stuff in it. That’s probably my favorite.

Q. How do you stay so positive and happy all the time?

A. It’s all about your perspective. Whatever the situation is, you can choose your feelings towards it. My friend Cheyenne always says, “SEEK BEAUTY in everything.” If you seek the good in a situation, it will fill you joy. If you seek the bad you will be filled with negativity. It’s all about the mindset.

Q. How do you manage your sports, school, signings, and many other activities?! And do you have a designated time for bible study/devotion?

A. IT’S CRAZY! I can’t lie. My life is definitely crazy and, at times, a bit over whelming. It’s all so much fun though, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Plus, I love to stay busy. Anything I can do? – Sign me up. Also, I am big into prayer, so my time with God is a constant state of prayer. It’s great
