Billy Graham spent Christmas of 1966 with American troops in Vietnam, during the height of the war. He was presented with this plaque as a token of their appreciation. An inscription on the back of the plaque from a Marine general reads, “To: Dr. Graham, with warmest personal regards, and deepest appreciation for your visit with the U.S. servicemen at Danang on Christmas Day, 1966. May God continue to bless you and your wonderful ministry.”
