Women shopped in Ruth's Attic Bookstore before the event.
The Library served hors d'oeuvres.
One woman brought the youngest attendee.
Author and speaker Casey Schutrop took a moment to pray and worship in private before giving a presentation.
Just like bare trees with broken branches and gaping holes, Casey said, we all have imperfections and baggage.
Casey decorated the tree with ornaments that said things like "patience," "love" and "self-control" - all gifts that God uses to decorate our souls.
The Library lobby was full of women for the first Ladies Night Out.
Casey took time to sign books and meet the women who attended.
One woman that Casey met after her presentation.
A Library volunteer prayed with a few women after the event.
