Every year, the scene is the same: Thanksgiving has just ended and the mad rush to shop for Christmas has begun. There’s a flurry of activity from parties to finding presents. But are we missing getting ready for the “presence” of our Savior?

The Christmas season can be stressful, but the four weeks leading up to Christmas Eve, also known as Advent, is a great time to prepare your hearts for Christmas and the real reason of the season — the entrance of Jesus Christ into this world.

Spend time this season being intentional digging into God’s Word as Christmas approaches.
