Refreshment for the Soul: The Annual Ladies Tea

May 4, 2025

Categories: Events, Plan Your Visit

Each year, women come expectantly from across the Southeast—donned in fancy hats and floral dresses—for a time of fellowship and delicious tea, sandwiches, and desserts.

A guest enjoys Ladies Tea at the Library in 2024.

But more than the physical refreshment they receive when they visit, they also gain spiritual renewal from notable female speakers such as Cissie Graham Lynch, Gigi Graham, Sheila Walsh, and Missy Robertson.

Guests find an assortment of finger foods and fresh flowers on each table.

This year, on June 13, the Library is excited to welcome Rebecca St. James—a Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, actress, best-selling author, and speaker.

St. James will share a heartfelt message about transformation based on Romans 12:2: “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Two seatings are available at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Get tickets here.

Rebecca St. James aims to encourage and uplift women at this year’s tea.
