Celebrating 15 Years

June 4, 2022

In 2007, the world looked much different than it does today. In Charlotte, North Carolina:

  • the city had a population of 1.09 million residents;
  • the new Lynx Blue Line light rail train was nearing completion;
  • the local NBA team were called the Charlotte Bobcats;
  • and on Billy Graham Parkway, a new Library dedicated to telling the story of Billy Graham’s life and ministry was set to be dedicated in the presence of three former U.S. Presidents.

One June 4, 2007, the Billy Graham Library opened its doors to the public for the first time.

As we prepare for the Billy Graham Library to reopen this summer, we are taking a look back at 15 events that have taken place at the Billy Graham Library over its 15 year history.
