On Nov. 7, 1918, in the budding town of Charlotte, North Carolina, a dairy farmer and his wife welcomed their first child, whom they would affectionately call “Billy Frank.”
William Franklin Graham, Jr.—better known around the world as Billy Graham—was raised on that dairy farm with his two sisters and brother by their parents, Frank and Morrow.
Much has changed in the Queen City since the time Billy Graham grew up in it, yet many places still remain that were part of his formative years.
