More than 500 women of all ages came to the Billy Graham Library on Saturday, April 29 for the 10th annual Ladies Tea & Tour.

Missy Robertson, from A&E’s hit reality show Duck Dynasty, shared how defining moments in her and husband Jase’s childhoods impacted choices they made in their own lives. Those moments would eventually draw them closer in their relationship with Christ.

Robertson talked about her daughter Mia’s strength and resilience following multiple surgeries.  And how when we turn our questions of “Why?,” into “Why not?;” our trajectory changes into opportunities to glorify our Creator. Through it all, she focused on how God’s purpose for each person opens doors to sharing the hope and love found through Jesus.

She left the audience with this challenge: “Stop looking at God as a way to enhance your life on earth; instead view yourself as valuable enough to enhance His kingdom.”

The Billy Graham Library continues to celebrate its 10th anniversary with National Day of Prayer observance on May 4; Mother’s Day Breakfast on May 13; and Non-profit professionals appreciation on May 19.
