SUMMARY:Ruth's Attic: Summer Reading Program
DESCRIPTION:Children ages 5-12 are invited to participate in the Ruth’s Attic Summer Reading Program. Read five books from the bookstore over the summer and receive a special prize. \nLibrary Ruth’s Attic Bookstore Summer Reading Program Rules \n\nChildren who participate must be between the ages of 5 to 12 and be accompanied by a parent or guardian.\nQualifying books can only be purchased at the Ruth’s Attic bookstore\, which is located at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte\, North Carolina.\nWhile purchasing their first qualifying book\, the parent or guardian can provide their name and phone number to sign up each new participant.\nOne punch card will be provided per child.\nThese punch cards will be punched once at checkout for each qualifying book that is purchased.\nIn order to qualify for a 30% discount on books two through five\, books must be purchased by Aug. 30\, 2026.\nBooks must fit within age-appropriate categories for each participant. These categories are outlined in the children’s section of the Ruth’s Attic bookstore.\nTo complete the Summer Reading Program\, each participant must read all five books and then review their favorite book of the five by providing a bookstore staff member with either a drawing\, verbal explanation\, or written summary.\nParticipants must complete the challenge by Sept. 10\, 2026 to qualify for the special prize—a $15 gift card. This gift card can be redeemed at the Ruth’s Attic bookstore for an age-appropriate book.
