Medical missionaries Dr. Kent and Amber Brantly will sign copies of their new book, Called for Life, on Saturday, July 25. The Brantlys moved with their children to war-torn Liberia in the fall of 2013 to provide medical care through Samaritan’s Purse for people in great need—to help replace hopelessness with hope. When, less than a year later, Kent contracted the deadly Ebola virus, hope became what he and Amber needed, too. Together, they wrote Called for Life to share their story and remind us all of the risk, honor and joy in store when God and others are served without reservation.
The book will be released July 21, and you can be one of the first to receive a signed copy. Books will be available for purchase in Ruth’s Attic bookstore, or you may bring your own. For more information, call 704-401-3256 or email LibraryEvents@bgea.org.
