The Billy Graham Library will reopen all facilities beginning Saturday, May 23. The Library staff looks forward to welcoming guests to the Library with added precautionary measures being implemented. Please see below for answers to questions you may have related to COVID-19.
Visitors will be limited to 50 percent capacity, with no more than 300 people on property at any given time. Additional hand sanitizing stations have been added, and signage will remind guests to adhere to the suggested 6 ft. social distancing guidelines as well as symptom checks. Visitors are encouraged to follow to CDC guidelines for being in public places.
Staff is screened daily for symptoms, including temperature check. The Journey of Faith tour will operate with a limited number of tours and smaller groups. The tour already adheres to a “one-way aisle” guideline and is touchless with no interactive elements. Frequent and routine cleaning and disinfecting will be conducted of high-touch areas.
There will be physical distancing indicators in the Graham Brothers Dairy Bar and Ruth’s Attic bookstore. Tables in the dairy bar will be spaced out at least 6 ft. or more. Drinks and condiments will be provided by staff with no self-serving areas. Both the bookstore and dairy bar will offer contactless payment options.
While we encourage those who wish to visit to come, we also ask that guests be sensitive to their own health situation and stay home if they are in a high-risk demographic. Of course, anyone with symptoms consistent with the COVID-19 should not visit at this time, though we look forward to hosting them when they are well.
Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
