19 Facts about the Duggars

In 19 days, the Duggar family, featured on TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting,” will be at the Billy Graham Library for a book-signing. Here are 19 fun facts about the Duggars:

  1. Jim Bob and Michelle will celebrate their 29th wedding anniversary on July 21.
  2. The Duggars have written 2 books: “The Duggars: 20 and Counting!” and “A Love That Multiplies.”
  3. Oldest Duggar Josh, and his wife Anna, are expecting their 3rd child on June 7.
  4. Michelle has given birth 4 times via caesarian section.
  5. The most popular birth-month of the Duggars is December. Jinger, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jordyn and Josie all have December birthdays!
  6. None of the Duggar children were born in June. But Josh’s wife Anna and son Michael both have June birthdays.
  7. Josiah is the only Duggar kid to have broken a major bone. He broke his arm at the age of 7 while climbing a tree in his cowboy boots.
  8. The youngest Duggars – Jordyn and Josie, and their niece Mackynzie – are all the same age for eight days every year.
  9. With nine children above and below him, Jedidiah is the middle child.
  10. Josh, John-David and Jinger all have the favorite song – “How Great Thou Art.”
  11. “19 Kids and counting” is in its 11th season on TLC.
  12. The Duggars typically have 35 loads of laundry per week.
  13. Jim Bob was 19 and Michelle was 17 when they were married.
  14. The Duggars’ 7000-square-foot home in Arkansas took four years to build.
  15. “Growing Up Duggar” a book by Jana, Jill, Jessa and Jinger, is set to be released in March 2014.
  16. Johannah will always be “Sweet 16.” (She is #16 in the line-up.)
  17. 17 of the Duggars experience motion sickness on airplanes.
  18. Joy was the youngest girl for seven years before Johannah was born. She has four older sisters and four younger sisters.
  19. Jana and John-David were 19 when their youngest sister (and 19th Duggar) Josie was born.
